- Ruben Amorim picked up a first win as Man United boss in midweek
- Everton have played out successive 0-0 draws in their last two EPL matches
Ruben Amorim takes charge of Man United at Old Trafford for the first time in the Premier League on Sunday. United come into this round after a positive result in midweek in the Europa League, but Everton have a strong defensive record, which could make this fixture a slightly frustrating one for the hosts.

Match Preview
Man United will be back in Premier League action in front of their home fans on Sunday, as the Red Devils chase a second win in three matches. Amorim’s first taste of domestic action in England was ultimately a frustrating one, as he watched his side play out a 1-1 draw at Ipswich.
Everton remain locked in a relegation battle at the wrong end of the standings, but they have been in fine defensive form after keeping clean sheets in their last two. However, it is also worth noting that the Toffees have failed to win in their last four Premier League outings.

United’s overall record against Everton in recent clashes is worth taking into account this weekend, as the Red Devils have won each of the last four head-to-head meetings. That sequence of wins is their longest against the Toffees since winning nine on the bounce between December 1999 and February 2004.
Everton’s record at Old Trafford is also poor, winning just once in their last 31 visits to the Theatre of Dreams. Over that period, the Toffees have suffered 22 defeats.
United matches this season have been typically low-scoring affairs, with no side having seen fewer goals scored. In fact, only Southampton, Everton, and Crystal Palace have scored fewer than United’s 13 goals in the Premier League this season.
Man United vs. Everton Picks
This could be a testing fixture for the Red Devils on Sunday, as Everton have been in excellent defensive form throughout the season. It may not be the most exciting match of the weekend, but we expect United to get the job done at Old Trafford.
