Odell Beckham Jr Baltimore Ravens Odds 2023 NFL Season

The much-touted “OBJ sweepstakes” went on for far too long last season and ultimately ended with the WR failing to prove his fitness to any team, but he’s finally going to have the chance to be WR1 for a contender again after signing with the Baltimore Ravens:
There’s no doubt that it’s a lot of money for a player who does have a history of injury issues, while there’s an interesting potential knock-on effect with Lamar Jackson too. The addition of a big-ticket WR has to be appealing from a competitive sense, but that’s a big contract and could restrict the Ravens from making further moves and tying Jackson down to a long-term deal this season.
The over/under lines are now available for OBJ’s season in Baltimore, and the line appears to be set on numbers that would represent a solid if somewhat unspectacular year:

In a run-first system if OBJ can hit the over on all of these markets then it’s likely that the Ravens will have a very good season, but it’s hard to have complete confidence when you look at his record in recent years. For reference, the last time he was fit enough to last a whole season came during his first season with the Cleveland Browns in 2019 where he played 16 times, had 74 receptions for 1035 yards and 4 TDs.
