Vegas Odds Best Bets NFL Week 13: Locks, Dogs, and Props
NFL bets are underway after the Buffalo Bills continued their recent dominance over the New England Patriots. The playoff picture is still up in the air for both the AFC and NFC and this weekend should change things quite a bit depending on some of the outcomes.

NFL Week 13 Lock 🔒
Seattle Seahawks (-7) at Los Angeles Rams, Sunday, 1:05 PM EST
If you asked me at the start of the year, I would have gone with the Rams in a heartbeat. But, things are vastly different than we expected. The Rams have just three wins and are without a number of key players.
Since their bye, the Rams have lost five straight, with three of those losses by 10 or more points. On the other hand, the Seahawks are reeling after a Josh Jacobs overtime walk-off gave the Raiders the win last weekend, and Pete Carroll wants to do his best to stay in the race for the NFC West. Even with the game at SoFi, it doesn’t matter: The Seahawks cruise to a double-digit victory and stay within striking distance of the 49ers for the NFC West lead. Pick: Seahawks -7
NFL Week 13 Picks ✔️
Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens (-8.5), Sunday, 1 PM EST
Times are rough in the Mile High City. The Broncos have dropped three straight and seven of the last eight games after acquiring and extending Russell Wilson this past offseason. Head coach Nathaniel Hackett has been brutal, and Denver is dead last in the NFL in points per game (14.3) and 26th in yards per game (340.1) while sitting 30th in third-down efficiency (28.2%). There are simply no good statistics for the Broncos offense, and if it weren’t for a solid defense — they are 3rd in the NFL in points allowed per game (17.6)– the Broncos might have the worst record in the league.
The Ravens are 7-4, although they just suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Jaguars last week. Trevor Lawrence converted the two-point conversion to Zay Jones with 18 seconds left, and Justin Tucker’s 67-yard miracle field goal was just short.
Baltimore is 8th in points scored (25 PPG) and 2nd in rushing yards per (162.7) while sitting in the top 15 in all of the following categories: points allowed, yards per game, time of possession, sacks, and interceptions. This seems like a lopsided matchup, and it will be in Baltimore.
The Ravens benefit from playing one of the worst teams in the NFL, and the chances that Lamar Jackson and company win by more than a touchdown seem very likely. Pick: Ravens -8.5
Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders Over 50.5, Sunday, 4:25 PM EST
Whenever the Chargers and Raiders face off, you can expect an entertaining battle. Do you remember the way the 2021 regular season ended? The Chargers needed a tie to get in, but the Raiders escaped and secured a spot in the playoffs.
This time around, the Chargers are 6-5 while Las Vegas has disappointed with just four wins, although they have won the past two games, both on overtime walk-offs. These two teams met in Week 1, and the Chargers got the best of Vegas, 24-19, in LA.
However, both offenses are better than they were back then. The Raiders are surprisingly 10th in the NFL in points per game (24.1) and top-10 in yards and passing yards per game. Josh Jacobs has exploded this season with 1,159 yards and nine touchdowns, including the 86-yard game-winner last weekend against Seattle.
The Chargers are 13th in the NFL with 22.9 points per game, but they are also 29th in points allowed (25.6). These two teams always find a way to play close, thrilling games, and there’s a good chance this turns into a back-and-forth offensive battle with both defenses struggling. I’ll take the over and a Chargers win in Sin City. Pick: Over 50.5
NFL Week 13 Props 📈
Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 76.5 receiving yards
The Detroit Lions face the Jacksonville Jaguars in a game that could turn into a shootout from both sides. Amon-Ra St. Brown has been on fire lately, and he has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in two of the past three games. Against the Bills last week, St. Brown had nine grabs for 122 yards and a score. The week before, he had seven catches for 76 yards and had 10 for 119 prior to that. When healthy, he is the go-to option for Jared Goff, and even more with tight end TJ Hockenson being dealt to the Vikings.
