Prop Bets
Prediction:
As the Orioles continue to exceed expectations and build on their success from last season, they continue to get strong outings from their starting rotation. One of those starters is Tyler Wells, who has settled in nicely in his 3rd year in the MLB. He currently holds a 6-2 record, a 3.20 ERA, and a very impressive 0.86 WHIP. He has a good whiff rate too, striking out 7 or more batters in 6 of his last 7 games. I’d take the over.

Prediction:
Speaking of Baltimore’s success this season, they’ve improved a lot from the other side of the plate as well. LF Austin Hays is having a standout season with the Orioles, hitting .320 so far, which ranks 4th in the MLB. Over the last 3 seasons, Hays had batted just .262, breaking out and then some this year. He went 10 for 25 (.400) at the plate last week. I’d feel pretty good about taking the over once again here.

Prediction:
As good as the Orioles have been this season, the Rays have been even better, leading the league in record for nearly the entire year. Tampa Bay faces an uphill battle in this series against the surging Orioles, but has a chance to further extend their lead in the AL East division. They’ll have Taj Bradley (4.19 ERA) on the mound here. I don’t expect Bradley to have a bad outing, but there’s a good chance he’ll give up a few.
