Game Preview

It wasn’t a good weekend for Real, who lost to Betis on the road, 1-0. Heading into this UCL fixture, Mourinho’s team isn’t as confident as many would expect, particularly knowing what kind of individual quality they have.

Right now, defense is a big problem for Mourinho. His unit has only one clean sheet in 4 La Liga games, which clearly suggests something isn’t working quite right in the back line. Though we have to admit that Real had plenty of newcomers in that part of the unit, one of them being Denzel Dumfries from Inter.

Nerazzurri overhauled their defense too. Pretty much all the players in that line are new: Curtis Jones, Djed Spence, Josh Stones, etc. So far, Christian Chivu is doing a solid job syncing them, and Inter posts solid results.

They would beat Napoli this Saturday, 3-2, with Marcus Thuram netting a 91st-minute winner. Inter was down 0-2 before netting three goals in a row and showcasing its true power.

Real Madrid vs. Inter Milan Head to Head

The last UCL season in which these two met was 2021/2022, when they played in the group stage. Real won on both occasions, 0-1 at Meazza and 2-0 at home. Overall, they are dominating against Inter, winning the past 5 contests.

Real Madrid vs. Inter Milan Predictions

We have to bet on Real at home. First, because of the home-field edge, and second, because they suffered a failure against Betis. Knowing Mourinho, a rebound here will be imperative.
