Prop Bets
Prediction:
Jon Gray is having the best year of his career in 2023 so far. His ERA of 2.96 is the lowest mark he’s had, after pitching to a 4.39 career ERA. He’s also managed to lower his WHIP from a career average of 1.29 to 1.05 this season. That being said, his K/9 rate this year is lower than his career average, indicating he is getting more ground ball outs and not strikeouts. However, I’d still take the over here against the Yankees.

Prediction:
Anthony Rizzo finally broke out of his slump against the Mariners, going 4 for 9 in the series. Prior to that, he was hitting under .100 in the month of June, failing to make up for the injured sluggers missing from the Yankees lineup. Rizzo may finally be starting to turn things around, but I’ll need to see some sustained success at the plate before I begin to trust him again. I’d lean towards taking the under for a while longer.
Pick:
Prediction:
Adolis Garcia is another one of several Rangers players performing at the highest level of their careers this season. He’s hitting .263, improved from a career batting average of .247, and raised his OPS from .755 to .823, an even more notable difference. With that OPS increase have come several big hits for Garcia. He currently ranks 1st in the MLB in RBIs with 58 on the season so far. I’d definitely take the over for Garcia.
