Game Preview
The Mavs have been more than inconsistent lately, and we have to say that the team from Texas didn’t thrill us at all. They have subsequent losses and wins in the past five games, the most recent being a defeat to the Phoenix Suns, 114-113, at home.
All those meetings have been at their American Airlines Center, so this record is far from perfect. It seems that Luka and the boys still haven’t found their rhythm and groove.
On the other hand, Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets had a slow start to the season. Though, after an opening struggle, they went on to win four in a row and climb up the standings.
Jokic was so dominant, and the Serbian already has five triple-doubles this year. The most recent was on Friday night against the Miami Heat, in a 135-122 win. Joker posted 30 points, 14 assists and 11 boards, shooting 11-for-13 from the field.
