Game Preview
The Rockets are 25-12 and currently hold the second spot in the NBA Western Conference standings. They have one of the most diverse offenses in the NBA, with eight players scoring nine or more points per game. They are also the No.1 team in rebounding, grabbing 48.9 boards each night.
Alperen Sengun leads the frontcourt with 19 points, 10.4 boards and five assists. He’s been called Baby Jokic, and to be frank, the young Turk does look like the three-time NBA MVP from Serbia.
Atlanta Hawks have their own superstar, and that’s Trae Young. He not only leads the league in assists, dishing 12.2 dimes per game, but scores game-winners, too. The most recent was a half-court buzzer-beater against the Jazz in Utah.
The Hawks had a very tough schedule, with six straight road games. They won two and lost four, the most recent in Phoenix against the Suns this Thursday, 123-115.
