The first game of the 2023 NBA Finals was great to watch and was even better for bettors. At least for those who listened to our prop bet advice. We predicted that Nikola Jokic was going to record another triple-double at -141.

The bet won easily, and we’re now confident our Heat vs Nuggets Game 2 prop will win as well. This time, however, it’s not a Jokic prop, but something else. To see which NBA player prop pick we have for June 4 game, just keep on reading!

Prop Pick

The Miami Heat lost the first game of the 2023 NBA Finals 104-93. Scoring hasn’t been their forte this season, but 93 points is their worst number since March. Further, Game 1 saw the Heat set a record for the least number of free throw attempts in the postseason. Miami’s players went to the free-throw line only twice in that game.

In the post-game press conference, Jimmy Butler spoke about his team’s inefficiency in the first game, suggesting that the Heat players need to “attack the rim” more often.

Butler had a relatively poor display that evening, scoring just 14 points. He went 6-for-14 for two points and scored one of his two attempts from the three-point line. This time, he’s determined to do much, much better. He’s got the motivation, but does he have the ability to do it?

Of course, he does! The proof of this is that he was averaging 22.9 points per game in the regular season, while in the postseason, his average is 27.6 PPG.
