The San Antonio Spurs eliminated the Timberwolves with a vicious 139-109 Game 6 win. Stephon Castle had a superb game with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 11-for-16 shooting from the field.
This event showed San Antonio at its full power. They had 60 boards, made 18 threes, shot 56% from the field, and kept Minnesota to just 29 boards.
OKC swept the Lakers and the Suns in the opening two rounds. They are looking like a machine, despite not having Jalen Williams, who picked up a hamstring injury.
The way this team dismantled its rivals is impressive, having just one win under an 18-point margin. Previously, we saw them rolling over the Suns pretty much in the same manner.

The San Antonio Spurs have been ruthless against the Timberwolves in games that they had to win. We can say the T-Wolves stole two games, winning on some lucky circumstances (Wemby’s ejection), and that, overall, SAS was at least 15 points better than the T-Wolves. Though the way OKC slammed the Lakers and Suns is impressive as well, even though both teams are weaker than the Spurs’ rivals. For the moment, we really believe that the Spurs are a better team, and that they’ll reach the finals, but in this event, we will pick them to defend the spread.
