Game Preview
An 18-16 home loss to the Cardinals definitely set off the alarm at SoFi Stadium. The Rams desperately need consecutive wins, and that stretch has to start in Las Vegas. But injuries will make that tough. WR Davante Adams is out for several weeks, DT Poona Ford is out for the season, and another DT, Kobie Turner, won’t play in the near future either.
LAR’s offense generates 401.3 yards from the scrimmage, the second-best in the league, yet the team scores only 22.5 points per game. The Rams aren’t as efficient as in the past, which may be their biggest problem right now.
As for the Raiders, after opening with three wins, they posted three losses in a row. The rivals were strong: Chiefs, Pats, and Bills, and aside from the game against New England, they went toe-to-toe in the other two clashes.
Kirk Cousins leads the league with 14 TD passes. If the RB Ashton Jeanty was a little more productive, this team would have an all-around offense. But for the moment, the ground game is LVR’s weak spot, producing only 79.2 ypg.
Rams vs. Raiders Predictions
Rams’ RB Kyren Williams is the key to the LA’s win here. He’s been one of the league’s best rushers per carry and is versatile because he can catch the ball, too. Now, the Raiders are defending the run game pretty badly, and the Rams can exploit that through Williams. Have this guy in mind for any NFL player prop betting.
