Game Preview
Miami was free last weekend and had enough time to rest and study the Jets. However, the team ranks 31st in the NFL in scoring, with only 14 points per game. That says a lot about this unit and its quality.
Malik Willis didn’t start as planned and has only 2 touchdowns with 4 picks so far. That’s terrible, no matter the circumstances and the fact that the Fins are in a rebuild. To add, he’s also had 3 fumbles lost. So when betting on NFL player props, always include Willis in talks for turnovers.
The Jets have one of the best defenses in the NFL, especially against the pass, allowing only 185 yards per game. But the thing is that their QB, Geno Smith, isn’t competitive anymore. His offense scores just 18.7 ppg
Smith’s stats aren’t that bad, he has 7 TDs and a pick, but overall, the impact on the game is weak. When we add that the run game produces less than 100 yards, it’s normal to see the Jets far below .500. RB Breece Hall is still injured and questionable for this event.

The Jets’ defense will crush an already unstable, slow Fins offense. As stated, NYJ has one of the best defenses, and Miami arguably the worst offense. That, plus the home-field edge, is enough for a comfortable Jets win.
