Steelers vs. Saints Odds
Game Preview
Jalen Ramsey sealed the win in Tampa Bay with a late-OT sack, helping the Steelers snatch a 26-19 win in Florida. It was an exhausting game for the guys from Pennsylvania, who now have two in a row and trail the Browns at the top spot in the AFC North.
The Steelers rallied in the final period, with Aaron Rodgers showing some of his old magic and throwing for two touchdowns. We also have to credit the Steelers’ defense, which picked off two interceptions in the final 15 minutes.
The Saints snapped a three-game losing streak with a big 34-27 win over the Giants in New York. They finally allowed fewer than 30 points, but their defense is still the 30th in the NFL, giving up 29.7 ppg.
More impressively, QB Tyler Shough threw for only 144 passing yards and 3 TDs. He completed only 16 of 30 passes, with a roller-coaster performance, and added one rushing TD too. The rushing game was also outstanding, with NE recording 175 rushing yards.
Steelers vs. Saints Predictions
The Steelers didn’t impress us, but they are winning games. The Saints are highly inconsistent, especially on defense, which is why they aren’t winning more often. The total line is set at 43.5 points. We’ll bet over because the Saints’ offense-first approach and poor defense will give Rodgers plenty of chances to show his talent.
