The advantage is with the Toronto Maple Leafs coming into game four of the series on Monday evening. Toronto has been excellent in each of their previous two games against the Lightning, as they have recovered after losing the opening clash between the sides in an emphatic fashion.

The Leafs moved into a series advantage in dramatic fashion over the weekend, as they registered a 4-3 success after overtime. They forced the additional period by netting the equalizing goal in the final period. Ryan O’Reilly, Noel Acciari, Auston Matthews, and Morgan Rielly netted the goals.

The pressure will certainly be on the Lightning coming into game three, as a second straight home loss against the Maple Leafs could enable Toronto to settle the tie back at the Scotiabank Arena. The Lightning started the quicker of the sides in game three, as they led 3-2 going into the final period.

However, they were made to pay the price for missed opportunities in the final period. Tampa’s goals in the overtime loss were recorded by Brandon Hagel, Anthony Cirelli, and Darren Raddysh. This game on Monday could potentially determine the side that reaches the next round.

The betting highlights how closely these sides are matched up. Toronto was excellent in game three of the series, and we could see them registering a third straight success on Monday to edge to within a single victory of the next round.
