Team News

The tension continues to rise in this playoff series between the Stars and the Kraken, as game five quickly approaches. The advantage certainly feels as though it is back with the Stars, as they landed a crucial 6-3 win in Seattle in game four. They were excellent in the second period of that game, as they scored four times.

The Stars managed to score a further goal in the final period to seal their 6-3 win on the road. Max Domi was the standout star for the Stars in that game, as he scored twice, and added one assist. Meanwhile, other goals in the success were netted by Jamie Benn, Thomas Harley, and Roope Hintz.

Meanwhile, the Seattle Kraken will still be dreaming of a first franchise appearance in the Stanley Cup finals this season. They have already shown throughout their run to this stage that they have what it takes to pick up massive wins on the road in the playoffs. In this series, they landed an overtime win in Dallas in game one.

However, there would have been slight disappointment in game four, as they suffered a heavy home defeat to hand the advantage to the Stars. Jaden Schwartz was the standout star for the Kraken in that defeat, as he scored twice. Meanwhile, the other goal for Seattle in the loss was scored by Adam Larsson.

Picks

This could still be a series that may go in either direction. However, we liked what we saw from the Stars in game four, and we could see them moving into a 3-2 series advantage with a victory in game five of the series.
