There are plenty of favorites for the Golden Glove award at the 2026 World Cup. At least half a dozen goalkeepers have a realistic chance of taking this individual trophy, and we at VegasOdds have previewed this race.

This is one of the most interesting outright bets for the World Cup, and as such, it definitely deserves our attention.

2026 FIFA World Cup Best Goalkeeper Odds

PlayerOdds
Emiliano Martinez+400
Unai Simon+450
Alisson Becker+550
Ederson Moraes+550
Mike Maignan+600
David Raya+700
Jonathan Pickford+700
Diogo Costa+1000

Mike Maignan (France)

To be honest, the French team comes into this tournament as the favorite, and as such, it’s logical for them to have a great goalkeeper. Maignan is fantastic in Milan, and the same goes for the national team, where he has an even better defense in front of him.

Many French fans were worried about what would happen after Hugo Lloris, but they can relax with Maignan in front of the net.

Emiliano Martinez (Argentina)

This is the previous winner, with the Argentinian goalkeeper playing at the same level as 4 years before. A few weeks ago, he led Aston Villa to the Europa League title, their second international major ever. And Dibu Martinez was a huge part of that success.

We don’t need to say too much about his passion and effort when defending for the national team. Martinez gives at least 50% more, we expect to see him at the highest possible level.

Alison Becker (Brazil)

The Liverpool No.1 is undisputed in Selecao, though many doubt he might be the Golden Glove in the World Cup, despite the sportsbooks’ opinion and their odds. He was injured near the end of the season, and not just that, his status at Anfield isn’t cemented for the upcoming campaign, meaning that the Reds aren’t satisfied with his performances.

Also, we have to say that Brazil doesn’t look as strong as before, which immediately lowers its chances of getting the award. But he is high on the list anyway.

Unai Simon (Spain)

The Red Fury comes to the championship as one of the top favorites to win the championship. They have an extremely talented squad that won the EURO 2024. Unai Simon was one of the top contributors and the guy who perfectly organizes the defense with his appearance.

His form is always at the highest possible level, because there aren’t any easy games for him in Bilbao, where he has his hands full of work.

Jonathan Pickford (England)

The way Tuchel plays, England will be all about defense, and that’s where Pickford has to step up. The German head coach is ultra-defensive, and we saw that the English team will play that way as well, meaning all eyes will be on the back line and Pickford.

He had more or less a solid season with Everton, showing signs of his brilliance on a couple of occasions.

Diogo Costa (Portugal)

This is a guy who could be a dark horse and who has everything to become arguably the best goalkeeper in the world. Both Bayern Munich and Liverpool have already started asking questions about this guy who shone throughout the entire season while playing for FC Porto.

Sure, the Portuguese league can’t be measured against the top 5 European national leagues, but he didn’t just impress there; he also impressed on the international stage.
