Prop Pick

The standout tie for many at this stage of the competition is the showdown between Real Madrid and Man City. This could have feasibly been the final match-up, but only one of the clubs will be able to reach the Champions League final this season.

This will be the ninth time that the two clubs have clashed, with both Real and City claiming three victories apiece. However, City have claimed victories in three of the last four. But, the only exception to that trend came in this exact fixture in the semi-finals last season, as Real Madrid landed a 3-1 win after extra time.

There will be increased pressure on Real to take something back to the Etihad next week, but goals should be expected as the previous four meetings between the sides have seen 17 goals scored. Karim Benzema is a solid option in the anytime scorer market, but a chance will instead be taken on Rodrygo. The Brazilian scored twice against City last season, and has already netted five in ten Champions League appearances this season.

Prop Pick

For just the fifth time in history, the two Milan giants will clash in a European fixture. AC Milan has an excellent record in meetings between the two on the continent, as they are unbeaten in the previous four. However, they needed the away goals rule to progress in the previous meeting between the two at the semi-final stage in 2002-03.

The recent advantage would rest with Inter, as they have landed two victories from the three meetings this season. Milan has failed to score in the last two against their rivals, with the most recent clash ending in a 1-0 success for Inter in Serie A.

We struggle to see this being a high-scoring affair over the two legs, and extra-time could be required next week. However, clashes between these sides have often been ill-disciplined affairs, which means it could be worth siding with a few players to pick up yellows. We could see Theo Hernandez and Lautaro Martinez both picking up bookings.
