Match Preview
The match for third place will kick off the final day of action in the 2023-24 CONCACAF Nations League on Sunday. Panama and Jamaica were both beaten in their semi-final clashes on Thursday, but both nations will be hopeful of ending their tournaments on a high point after impressive displays to this point.
Panama was in fine form throughout the tournament up until their semi-final showdown with Mexico, where they were well beaten by Mexico on Thursday. However, positives would have still been taken from the team despite the disappointing result, as they had more than enough chances to get on the scoresheet in that 3-0 loss.

Jamaica more than held their own in their semi-final showdown with the United States, despite eventually suffering a 3-1 loss after extra time. For a long period, it appeared as though Jamaica would hold on to their 1-0 advantage, but they conceded a late equalizer in the sixth minute of injury time before conceding two further goals in the additional half an hour.
Panama have an impressive record against Jamaica, having won each of the last two, and four of the previous five. Jamaica’s 1-0 win in the Gold Cup in 2019 remains their only victory against their rivals in their previous nine encounters. That could give a huge advantage to Panama this weekend.
