It has been a miserable campaign for Southampton to this point, as wins have been a rarity for the Saints throughout 2024-25. Ivan Juric’s side come into this weekend after winning just once in 20 Premier League outings, while they have suffered a league-high of 16 defeats.
Southampton have also lost their previous three, with their most recent loss coming in the form of a 5-0 hammering at St. Mary’s at the hands of Brentford.
A cup upset could be on the cards this weekend, as Swansea have been consistent throughout their Championship campaign. The Swans have won nine of their 26 matches this season, and confidence would have been gained from their late fightback to save a draw against West Brom last Saturday.
