The Gunners haven’t been too great over the last couple of weeks, but they’re still top of the table of the English Premier League. The problem is that Manchester City are breathing by their necks with just four points fewer. Plus, the Cityzens have also played one game fewer than Arsenal. And the two top EPL teams will meet next week.

Before playing Manchester City in what might be the decisive game for the EPL title, Arsenal have a much easier job on the table – they’re taking on Southampton on Friday.
Everything seems to be going in their favor ahead of the Saints game. First of all, it’s played on Arsenal’s turf. Secondly, most of Arsenal’s key men are either 100% fit or getting there. Finally, the Gunners are taking on the worst team in the league. Southampton are in the very last place in the Prem, with 51 points fewer than Arsenal.

Arsenal need to take this game seriously, even though they got a much more important game coming their way in a week’s time. The good news for them is that they’ll have their fans remind them that they need to win this. At home, they’re without a single loss to Southampton ever, and we don’t think that’s going to change this weekend.
