Game Preview
Leeds went into their match with Arsenal suffering from injuries to key men, Max Wober and Wilfried Nonto, picked up during the international break. With Rodrigo and Patrick Bamford only deemed fit enough to start the game on the bench it was always going to be an uphill battle for Leeds to take anything from this match and despite trailing only 1-0 at the break, Arsenal was out of sight 10 minutes into the second half. April looks set to be key in determining Leeds’ fate, with Nottingham Forest next up and three more relegation candidates in Crystal Palace, Leicester, and Bournemouth to follow every point may prove vital for Leeds in this run.

Nottingham Forest suffered a late equalizer to share the points against Wolves on Saturday, a result which does nothing to help either side in their relegation battle. Forest was the dominant team in the early stages. Brennan Johnson continued his fine season with the opening goal after 38 minutes. Wolves grew into the game as time ticked away and their late pressure paid dividends when Daniel Podence grabbed his sixth goal of the season in the 83rd minute. Podence is under an FA investigation following an incident in the closing stages – where he appeared to spit in the direction of Johnson.
Prediction
Neither side can afford to lose this given their league positions. Whilst a draw seems a likely outcome I’m backing Nottingham Forest to sneak a win against a fragile Leeds side.
