Match Preview
Leicester City’s long stay in the Premier League could come to an end on Sunday. It seems a lifetime ago that they exceeded all expectations to win the 2015-16 title, but they will need some of that belief to stand any chance of remaining a top-flight team in England. For the Foxes, they must beat West Ham on Sunday, and hope Everton don’t claim victory at Goodison Park against Bournemouth.
Dean Smith’s side defended excellently against Newcastle at St James’ Park on Monday, as they managed to secure a 0-0 draw. They almost stole the points in the final minute, which would have been a massive win in their bid to secure safety, as they would have moved out of the bottom three ahead of the final day.

West Ham’s top-flight status has already been assured, as they sit nine points clear of the drop. The Hammers have won two of their last three matches in the Premier League, with their most recent success coming in the form of a 3-1 win over Leeds United at the London Stadium last Sunday.
However, this could be a good final day fixture for the Foxes, as the Hammers will have a Europa Conference League final in their sights. That showdown with Fiorentina will take precedence over this final match, meaning we fully expect David Moyes to rest many of his big-hitters for their visit to the King Power.
