Match Preview
The pressure will be on Man United this weekend, as they look to reignite their fight for a Champions League spot. United remain fourth in the standings, and they still have a game in hand over Liverpool, but their healthy advantage has been diminished to just a single point. The Red Devils come into this match after suffering a second straight loss in the Premier League against West Ham last weekend.
Both of United’s recent defeats have come on the road, but their record at Old Trafford has been the complete opposite. Since losing to Brighton on the opening day, United have landed 24 victories at the Theatre of Dreams. They have only claimed more home wins in all competitions in three previous seasons; most recently in 2010-11.

Wolves have already confirmed their top-flight status for another season, and they should feel confident after landing a success in the West Midlands derby against Aston Villa last weekend. They come into this showdown after winning four of their previous six, and a win on Saturday would lift them up to eleventh in the standings.
However, Wolves have lost ten of the previous eleven games on the road against sides starting the day in the top-four since claiming victory against Man City in October 2019. Wolves did claim a 1-0 win in this fixture last season. But, they haven’t won on back-to-back visits to United since September 1961.
Man United vs Wolves Prediction
We expect a low-scoring clash between these sides on Saturday, with just three goals being scored in the previous four fixtures between United and Wolves at Old Trafford. The pressure will be on United this weekend, and we expect them to pick up a plucky 1-0 win.
