Match Preview

It has been a stunning start to the new Premier League season for Tottenham, as the North London club currently sit top of the standings having gone their opening eight matches without defeat. Spurs have won six of their opening matches this term, and have been held to just two draws.

Tottenham showed their battling qualities before the international break, as they recorded a 1-0 win on the road against Luton, despite playing with ten men for the entirety of the second period. The victory saw Spurs move onto 20 points this season, which is their highest tally since the 1960-61 season at this stage.

Fulham come into this fixture sitting in the bottom half of the standings, as they currently sit 12th. The Cottagers could move into the top half with victory on Monday. They have won just once in their previous three, but that success did come in their most recent fixture before the international break against Sheffield United.

Willian and Bobby De Cordova-Reid were among the scorers in that victory at Craven Cottage. The victory saw Marco Silva register a 50th win in the Premier League, becoming only the second Portuguese manager to achieve that feat following Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham vs Fulham Prediction

Tottenham’s Premier League record against Fulham is hard to dismiss, as they have won each of the previous three, and are unbeaten in eight league matches against the Cottagers. We expect Spurs to maintain their unbeaten start to the season on Monday by landing maximum points.
