Match Preview
Spain will be playing in the Nations League finals for the second straight edition this year. However, they will be looking to go one better than they managed in Italy two years ago, as they were beaten in the final by France. Spain was excellent in the group stages of the competition, as they won three of their six matches, which included victories away from home against Portugal and Switzerland.
Since crashing out of the World Cup at the hands of Morocco, Spain has won once and lost once in two international fixtures. Their first game after the tournament in Qatar saw them pick up a 3-0 home win over Norway. However, their confidence would have been shaken following a dramatic 2-0 loss on the road against Scotland.

Italy will certainly come into the Nations League finals with a point to prove after failing to reach the World Cup in Qatar. The Italians will be gearing up for their defense of the European Championships next summer, and this fixture is a repeat of the semi-final showdown, which saw the Italians make it through to the final.
Roberto Mancini’s side finished top of their Nations League group after winning three from six matches, which included home wins over Hungary and England. However, since the turn of the year, they have lost in Naples against England, before bouncing back with a professional display on the road against Malta.
Spain vs Italy Prediction
Spain are fairly difficult to overlook this week, as they boast an impressive record against Italy. They have won two of the previous three, while they have lost just once in 90 minutes across the previous ten clashes.
