Cobolli vs. Zverev Odds
Game Preview
Flavio Cobolli didn’t appear on the Paris clay in the semis because his rival, Matteo Arnaldi, picked up a stomach virus and had to forfeit the match.
This leaves him with just one big-time test so far, in the quarterfinals, when he eliminated Felix Auger-Aliassime 3-1. Cobolli’s rivals weren’t that tough overall – Pellegrino, Wu, Tien, Svajda, and the Felix.
We can say the same for Zverev, who beat Bonzi, Machac, Halys, De Jong, Jodar, and Jakub Mensik in the semifinals. Sascha beat Mensik 3-1, not allowing the young rival to gain any momentum, even though he lost a set.
Zverev had 42 winners, and he won 79% points on his first serve. Overall, his serve is working well in Paris, but we will see how the German handles the pressure in the finals. Zverev has been shaky in finals, losing in all three of his appearances.
Cobolli vs. Zverev Head to Head
The current H2H result is 3-1 for Zverev, who beat Cobolli in Paris last year 3-0. There were two meetings between these guys in 2026, and the result was 1-1. Cobolli beat Zverev in the Munich semis, 2-0, and Zverev responded 2-0 in Madrid.
Cobolli vs. Zverev Predictions
We are more than sure that Cobolli takes at least one set in the finals. He is very powerful and has what it takes to compete with Zverev. We saw that in Munich. Plus, he didn’t play the semis, meaning he had more time to rest.
Free French Open Pick: Cobolli +2.5
