Open spots in parlay betting are those that have yet to be selected in a parlay bet. The open spots in a parlay bet are the remaining selections that must be made in order to complete the bet. The number of open spots in a parlay bet will depend on the number of selections already made. For instance, if a parlay bet had only two selections out of three, there would be one “open spot”.
