What are ‘Vegas Odds’
Vegas odds are the betting lines and point spreads set by bookmakers in Las Vegas and other sportsbooks. As the de facto betting mecca, odds from “Vegas” are seen as the authority in betting odds. In theory, Vegas odds will look exactly the same as odds from casinos and sportsbooks outside of Las Vegas, sometimes referred to as ‘offshore‘ odds due to payments being processed outside of the US, but in practicality, bettors will generally find better and more exciting odds outside of Vegas, using Vegas just as a reference from which to help them make more educated bets when it comes to the line movement of odds.
