No one was disputing that the Buffalo Bills had enough defense to contend in the AFC East. But could they move the ball enough on the offensive end? That was a good question, considering that their quarterback, Josh Allen, was somewhat limited.

And Allen has acquired an invaluable weapon in Stefon Diggs, who has 288 receiving yards already. This, along with Devin Singletary establishing himself very firmly as the top running back, gives the Bills something that is rather complete.

Should the Bills Be Worried?
What the Bills can expect from the Raiders is a team that will jab, jab, jab its way down the field. David Carr is a guy who likes to pride himself on avoiding interceptions (none thus far) and sacks and complete passes for a high percentage (74%) in Jon Gruden’s West Coast-style offense.

Hunter Renfrow has been an interesting find as sort of a possession receiver, but the guy Carr may find himself looking for more often than not is Darren Waller, the tight end who has already caught 20 passes. That’s another thing Gruden insists on doing – using the tight end – and prior to Waller, Jared Cook has gone to the Pro Bowl at the position wearing the Silver and Black.
The best unit on the field is the Buffalo defense, although the offense is now giving them a run for their money. Allen has now thrown for at least 300 yards in every game this season.
