2026-27 Premier League Top Goalscorer Contenders
Erling Haaland (-170)
Erling Haaland could become only the third player to win the Premier League Top Goalscorer award in four separate seasons in 2026-27. The Norwegian will be confident of achieving that feat after an excellent World Cup campaign, netting seven goals in five appearances. Haaland will likely set a high tally that will need to be eclipsed, as he has scored at least 20 league goals in all four seasons since joining Man City.
Alexander Isak (+900)
An injury-plagued first season at Anfield impacted Alexander Isak and Liverpool’s 2025-26 campaign. However, the Swede has looked sharp since returning from injury, scoring once in four starts for his national team at the World Cup. Liverpool’s chances of excelling under Andoni Iraola will likely revolve around the striker, especially following Mohamed Salah’s departure at the start of the summer.
Igor Thiago (+1200)
Igor Thiago was one of the surprise packages in the Premier League last season, leading to a shock call-up to the Brazil national team for the World Cup. The 25-year-old was a key player for Brentford in a strong season under Keith Andrews, scoring a remarkable 22 goals in 38 appearances. Following up on that scoring return will be a huge challenge, especially for a Bees team that may not reach the same heights as last term.
Dark Horse to Consider – Dominic Solanke (+3300)
This season can’t get much worse for Tottenham after fighting against relegation for the last two seasons. Spurs have spent big money in core positions, but Roberto De Zerbi looks set to entrust Dominic Solanke to lead the line.
Injuries have restricted the 28-year-old during his Tottenham career, as he has scored just eleven league goals in the last two campaigns. However, if he gets back to the level he showed at Bournemouth in 2023-24 when hitting 19 goals in 38 appearances, he could be a leading light in a new era under De Zerbi.
