Jose Delgado (12-2) steps into the main event spotlight on short notice. He had 5 UFC fights, winning 4 and losing only to Nathaniel Wood via unanimous decision back in October 2025. After that, the Mexican bounced back by beating Andre Fili and Austin Bashi. So even though many think he’s unknown and isn’t elite, his record proves otherwise.
The 28-year-old boasts a strong physical presence, standing 5-foot-11 with a 73-inch reach. From what we’ve seen, Delgado knows how keep the distance and use his reach, but to be honest, he has never faced a rival like Silva, who is currently 6th in the rankings.
