NBA Finals Game 5 Odds
Game 5 Preview
After erasing a 29-point deficit and winning Game 4, the Knicks are high on morale and look to close the series as soon as possible. Mike Brown’s boys have beaten the Spurs in a thriller, Game 4, 107-106, with OG Anunoby hitting the game-winning tip-in.
The Knicks stiffed the Spurs offense once more when needed the most, holding it under 110 points, which is the recipe for a win. In all three finals triumphs, NYL allowed its rivals under 110 points.
This is the second time that the Spurs have lost a double-digit edge during the series. And it seems that this unit doesn’t have enough experience to hold on to its lead and close the game.
After setting an NBA record for threes in the first half, Wemby and the boys collapsed after the break, missing shot after shot and struggling on offense. Furthermore, De’Aaron Fox’s mistake eventually sealed the Spurs’ fate.
Before Betting
- The Knicks rallied from a 29-point deficit.
- Anunoby made 7 threes.
- Spurs scored only 30 points in the second half.
- Wemby had 24 points.
Knicks vs. Spurs Game 5 Predictions
San Antonio will respond aggressively because its back is against the wall. Wemby and the guys have to be much more offensive-minded because that’s the only way to beat the Knicks. The Spurs are under pressure, but have nothing to adapt to nor to think about here too much, so we believe this will be a high-scoring event, and that the total will go OVER.
