Spurs vs. Timberwolves Game 6 Odds
Game Preview
San Antonio smashed the Wolves in Game 5, 126-97, with Wemby in the main role. After getting ejected in Game 4, the Frenchman returned to score 27 points and grab 17 boards, completely obliterating the Wolves.
He had excellent support in Keldon Johnson, who came off the bench to score 21 points in 22 minutes, and De’Aaron Fox, who added 18 points. Spurs grabbed 50 boards, controlling the boards well and preventing the rivals from getting second-chance opportunity points.
As for the Wolves, they were terrible from downtown, hitting only 9 threes in 27 attempts. Anthony Edwards had 20 points, Josh McDaniels 17, the same as Julius Randle, who added 10 boards with that.
Minnesota couldn’t contain Wemby, and Gobert looked pretty inferior against his countryman, scoring 4 points in 23 minutes. Remember, this is one of the best defensive players in league history, and he couldn’t at least slow down the Spurs’ center.
Spurs vs. Timberwolves Predictions
Minnesota was more than capable of hitting back at the Spurs, but in this case, with Wemby focused and calmer than in the previous game, we are betting the guests will win. Not only win but cover a 4.5-point spread, because overall, they are a better team than the Wolves at the moment.
