  • The Broncos dominated the Browns, winning 29-12, and climbing to 6-5.
  • Houston came up just short against the Jaguars, losing by a score of 24-21.
  • These two teams last met on September 18, 2022, in a game the Broncos won 16-9.

The NFL regular season is nearing its final month! Let’s preview the upcoming Broncos vs Texans matchup. Both of these teams are currently red-hot, and making a real push to claim a surprise AFC Wild Card spot.

Denver continued their scorching hot play, dominating an 8-3 Browns team by a score of 29-12. The Broncos have now won 5 straight games and have a legitimate chance of making the postseason if they can keep this level of play up. They face a crucial stretch of their schedule up next, with three straight road games against the Texans, Chargers, and Lions. Going 2-1 or better here would put them in great position.

The Texans had their win streak snapped by the Jaguars in a close game on Sunday. They remain above .500 on the season, and on the cusp of an AFC Wild Card spot. Houston has a very beatable schedule down the stretch, giving them an opportunity to stun the league and make the playoffs after ranking among the league’s worst teams last year. Rookie QB C.J. Stroud continues to be sensational each week.

This game features two red-hot AFC teams that were flying under the radar for much of the season. The Texans had their win streak snapped last week, and now have a chance to snap the Broncos streak. I see it happening, as the Texans bounce back in Houston and take down a Denver team that is due for a loss.
