Falcons vs. Saints Odds
Game Preview
Falcons have the best rushing defense in the NFL, allowing only 47.7 yards per game. They have an excellent team, though; we’ve seen that only after their starting QB, Michael Penix Jr., returned to the field. When Penix Jr. started, Atlanta blew away the Packers at Lambeau, 35-14.
“The Robinson” running back duo, Bijan with 349 and Brian with 132 yards, is dominating the backfield, and it’s possible the Falcons will have the toughest running game in the NFL.
If the Saints had a little better defense, they would have a positive record. Right now, New Orleans allows 27.7 points pr game, which ranks them 26th in the NFL. The offense is more or less solid, delivering points regularly, no matter the rivals.
The Saints have lost in Detroit, 31-30 OT, then beat the Ravens in Baltimore, 24-17, before losing at home to the Raiders, 35-27. As you can see, they score no matter the rival, but can’t defend at all.
Falcons vs. Saints Predictions
This one will go OVER 48.5 points. Both teams are gifted on offense, and their defenses are more or less mediocre. With Penix Jr. in the lineup, the Falcons are very lethal, and we saw that in Green Bay, while the Saints’ defense clicked right away.
