In this week’s Chiefs vs Raiders matchup, a battle of undefeated 3-0 squads will take place. Kansas City is favored on the road to improve to 4-0 and take over the outright lead in the division after this game, but the Raiders are off to an excellent start of their own.
Chiefs Continue to Dominate
The Chiefs remain a staple in the NFL, currently sitting as one of the last few unbeaten teams. They face a surprisingly tough task in Week 4 on the road against a rebuilt Raiders team. With an improved defense and an offense led by Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City remains the favorite to return to the Super Bowl. Mahomes continues to prove his prowess as one of the greatness QBs on the field right now, completing 83.3% of his passes on Sunday.
Raiders off to Stellar Start
Las Vegas is off to about as good of a start as you could ask for. Pocketing #1 overall pick QB Fernando Mendoza, the Raiders opted to give the young signal caller a chance to learn behind veteran Kirk Cousins. They’ve been rewarded for that decision with a 3-0 start and a Mendoza that appears to be gaining a lot from each game he studies. TE Brock Bowers also returned to the field in a massive game against the Saints.

The Chiefs and Raiders face off this week in a key AFC West matchup. Kansas City has been by far the better team over the past decade, but Las Vegas may finally be turning a corner. Betting on them to win may be a bit bold, but it’s very likely that the Raiders keep this game close enough to cover on their home field. New head coach Klint Kubiak has done an excellent job so far, and should keep the Raiders within 3 points in this game.
