Jets vs. Bears Odds
Game Preview
The Jets lost to the Lions last weekend, 31-24, but a bigger concern is Breece Hall’s quad injury. The strong RB might be out for some time, which is a huge blow for NYJ’s offense.
The defense is doing a great job, allowing 258.3 yards per game, the 2nd-best in the league. The secondary is fantastic, along with the pass rush, allowing only 171 yards through the air, and for the moment, the only thing the Jets need is offensive consistency.
Bears are 2-1, and we have to say that the 27-7 win over the Eagles on Monday Night Football really improved this team in our eyes. Why? Because Caleb Williams didn’t play, and the defense stepped up. It forced 3 turnovers and sacked Jalen Hurts twice, setting the tone of the game.
Also, veteran QB Case Keenum had 247 passing yards for 2 touchdown passes, and he even ran for one more score. He played a perfect game for a replacement, and Williams’ absence wasn’t felt at all.
Jets vs. Bears Predictions
The Jets have injury problems, and without Hall they might be one-dimensional. Now, given that Geno Smith’s passing was compromised last year when he led the league in interceptions, we don’t doubt the Bears will use that to their advantage. Our final pick here is Chicago -3.5.
