  • Arizona came up short against the Bengals, losing by a score of 34-20.
  • The Rams were defeated by the Eagles, 23-14, falling to 2-3 on the year.
  • These two teams last met on November 13, 2022, in a game the Cardinals won 27-17.

The NFL season is in full swing. Let’s preview the upcoming Cardinals vs Rams matchup. Both teams are aiming to stay in contention in the NFC. Los Angeles has won 11 of their last 13 games against Arizona.

How to Watch

  • FOX

The Cardinals were unable to overcome the Bengals at home, falling to 1-4 on the season, Despite the loss, Arizona continues to compete on a weekly basis, entering the 4th quarter in this one down just 24-20. Unfortunately, they also lost RB James Conner to an injury in the defeat. Moving forward, Arizona will aim to improve defensively, while keeping their eyes on their draft positioning and USC QB Caleb Williams.

Los Angeles struggled to produce on offense against a dangerous Eagles defense. They entered halftime trailing 17-14, but were shut out in the 2nd half. On the other hand, Cooper Kupp finally returned from injury, giving the Rams a much-needed boost. The combination of Kupp and rookie Puka Nacua proved to be unguardable, as the duo reeled in 15 catches for 189 yards and a TD, despite the offensive struggles.

This is a crucial division matchup for these two teams. Both have looked pretty competitive in nearly every game this season, but sit in the bottom half of the NFC West with a combined 3-7 record. The next month of the season will determine whether the Rams and Cardinals can actually make a playoff push, or if they’ll be refocusing on the draft as expected. With Kupp now back, I expect the Rams to win this game at home.
