Bears vs. Packers Odds
Game Preview
Ben Johnson’s squad leads the league in rushing yards, recording 196.2 per game. Both Kyle Monangai and D’Andre Swift have 300+ yards after 4 weeks, and they look like a perfect one-two punch combo.
Meanwhile, we don’t know who’s starting at QB in this one: Keenum or Tyson Bagent, who played in the 23-12 win over the Jets. Bagent threw for 268 passing yards, yet no touchdowns and one pick. The Bears are also the NFL’s 4th-ranked scoring defense, allowing 16.2 PPG.
The Packers are 2-2, but they aren’t playing well at all. Josh Jacobs’ and Micah Parsons’ absences are too much for this team, which struggles a lot right now. Beating the injured Buccaneers on the road, 17-14, was solely because Baker Mayfield didn’t play, and there’s no question about that.
Matt LeFleur has plenty of problems on the offensive side without Jacobs, because the Packers average 58 rushing yards per game. This is by far the worst number in the league. Meanwhile, Jordan Love keeps on throwing picks, and he recorded one in Tampa Bay last weekend. So the Packers are pretty fragile on offense.
Bears vs. Packers Predictions
Even though the Packers have their pride at Lambeau, the Bears will win. Simply, the guests from Chicago have a much better offense, at least one level above Green Bay’s, even if Caleb Williams isn’t playing. Besides that, their defense will stiff Love because the Packers have no choice but to overload the pass game, and we all know Love doesn’t work well in those situations.
