  • The Lions defeated the Buccaneers last time out.
  • The 49ers beat the Packers in the Divisional round.

The NFC Championship game sees the Detroit Lions travel to the San Francisco 49ers in what promises to be an exciting matchup. The Lions are the only NFC team to have never reached the Super Bowl, whilst the 49ers were last there in 2020 when they lost 31-20 to the Chiefs.

Prop Picks

Christian McCaffrey Over 86.5 Rushing Yards

McCaffrey has had another stellar season, rushing for 1459 yards and 14 touchdowns in 16 regular season games. His 98 yards against Green Bay was the 10th time he hit the over on this mark this season, and as such it seems a safe bet for him to do it again here.

Jahmyr Gibbs 1+ Touchdowns

The rookie running back has really come into his own in the second half of the regular season, and has continued that form in the post season so far. Gibbs has found the end zone in his last three games, and seems a prime candidate to do so again.

Brock Purdy 1+ Interceptions

Purdy hasn’t thrown too many picks this season, with just 11 in the regular season, but the Lions defense has managed to snare 18 regular season interceptions (and 2 post season). Everyone expects Goff to toss at least one up in this game, but I fancy Purdy to have one of his own against an agile secondary.

Parlay

Brandon Aiyuk to have 70+ receiving yards, 1+ TD, and SF to Win

The status of Deebo Samuel is still uncertain, and if he does miss the game it makes Aiyuk even more of a threat. The 25-year-old receiver has surpassed 70 yards on 7 occasions this season, and racked up 7 touchdowns along the way.
