Game Preview
The Bears opened the season well, with the No.1 NFL draft pick, Caleb Williams, navigating the team solidly. But all that collapsed after Week 6 and the Bears now ride a five-game losing streak. His inexperience is emerging to the surface, and it’s up to Williams to elevate his game to another level.
Chicago’s previous three losses were both at home, and this will also be the third consecutive event for them against the divisional rivals. They have narrowly lost the past two to the Vikings after OT and the Packers by one point.
The Lions have no such problems; they are smashing and bashing every rival that stands in their way. We understand that the Jaguars and the Colts aren’t some offensive powerhouses, but limiting these two teams to six points each is huge.
QB Jared Goff is playing excellent football, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him win the NFL MVP award. So far, he has 2761 yards, 20 passing touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Though, he leads the most potent offense in the NFL.
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Head to Head
This division rivalry goes back a long way, and it included 188 matches before this one. The Chicago Bears won 105 times, the Detroit Lions 78, and five games ended in ties.
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Prediction
The Bears have missed wins narrowly in the past two weeks, which is a huge blow to their morale. An even greater blow will be a double-digit loss here in Detroit, which will happen because the Lions are simply too good for them.
