NFL Week 1 Early Previews, Odds, Predictions, Picks

By · Updated 1 week ago
  • NFL Week 1 kicks off in Philly where Eagles host the Cowboys on September 4.
  • Steelers’ QB Aaron Rodgers visits the Jets in New York.
  • Vikings visit the Bears in the first MNF of the season.

Here are the latest NFL Odds.

These are the way-too-early NFL Week 1 preview, odds, and predictions, but since we all love gridiron and prefer to bet on it, it’s really never too early to place some wagers.

Cowboys @ Eagles

The champs open the season at home, again against their bitter division rival. The spread they need to cover is 7 points, and they will. Simply, they are the champs.

Chiefs @ Chargers

Another division clash. Chargers are after the Chiefs, and this season looks promising. Although in this opening game we wouldn’t bet on the winner, we would bet under 45.5 points. Jim Harbaugh football baby.

Buccaneers @ Falcons

There’s a new era in Atlanta, but there’s Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay. And he is better than Kirk Cousins, yes, we aren’t afraid to say that out loud. We go with the Bucs here.

Free NFL Week 1 Pick: Buccaneers

Bengals @ Browns

Joe Burrow needs to start the season better than in the previous years. He has a very nice chance to do that against the Browns on the road. Yes, we, too, believe that the franchise from Cleveland is headed for another tough season.

Free NFL Week 1 Pick: Bengals

Dolphins @ Colts

We still haven’t seen the right free agency moves by either of these two teams. Will Daniel Jones take over or be a backup for Anthony Richardson hm? Here we go with the Dolphins because of their experience. And the fact that the Colts’ OL suffered changes.

Free NFL Week 1 Pick : Dolphins

Raiders @ Patriots

The Raiders will be a bust this season. To put it simply like that. So we go with the Pats in this one.

Free NFL Week 1 Pick: Patriots

Cardinals @ Saints

Saints are in a rebuilding process, while on the other end, Jonathan Gannon is trying to craft a top-5 defense in the league. The difference is noticeable, and so we pick the Cards to win.

Free NFL Week 1 Pick: Cardinals

Steelers @ Jets

Aaron Rodgers is going back to New York. Ahhh, the irony. Nevertheless, the Steelers are a better team, and we pick their win here.

Giants @ Commanders

Giants are at a crossroads, but for the moment, they aren’t picking where to go. Meanwhile, the commanders have formed a team capable of advancing deep into the playoffs, let alone winning the division.

  • Free NFL Week 1 Pick: Commanders -6.5

Panthers @ Jaguars

In the matchup between two struggling teams, we take the Jags due to their home-field advantage. With six new offensive linemen, they should bring some protection for Lawrence. Hopefully.

Titans @ Broncos

Mile High and the altitude will do its job here. Otherwise, if it weren’t for that, we wouldn’t know what to pick here.

49ers @ Seahawks

The Seahawks look somehow more experienced. They have the perfect offensive fit, while the 49ers have more sounding names, yet not the chemistry. The noise at Lumen Field plays a crucial role here, as we pick the hosts to triumph.

  • Free NFL Week 1 Pick: Seahawks

Lions @ Packers

We will tell you right away here – Over 49.5. Why? Because of the offensive potential both teams have. There’s no need to complicate things by looking for the run line or anything else. Just plain old Over.

Texans @ Rams

Let’s see the Texans’ secondary against Davante Adams and Stafford. The Rams are favorites, but we wouldn’t go that way, yet pick Under 45.5 points. You know the Rams will play some defense too.

Ravens @ Bills

Despite everyone’s opinion about the high-scoring game, 52.5 points, in a prime time in the first game of the season….no, we simply have to go with under here. Both teams will be a little bit rusty, and it’s always easier to defend than to attack when being rusty.

Vikings @ Chiefs

The first Monday Night Football brings the NFC North clash. Let’s see whether Caleb Williams has better protection with Drew Dalman ahead of him. Still, the Vikings are a more complete team in our opinion, and they will win this one.
