Game Preview
Commanders lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend at home, 28-27, losing an edge over the Eagles in a battle for the NFC East crown. Now they must make up for that against their bitter rivals in their own house. Though, we have to say that the contest vs. Steelers was tight and that some official calls did hurt the Commanders.
QB Jayden Daniels had one of the worst performances this year, having no TDs and only 202 passing yards with five rushing yards on three carries. Pittsburgh’s defense killed his instincts in this event.
As for the Eagles, they had no problems against the injury-battered Dallas Cowboys in Texas. Their 34-6 victory was the fifth in a row, and the team from Philly looks fantastic right now.
QB Jalen Hurts threw for two touchdowns and had two more on the ground, rushing. Now, what might be a warning for this event are the five sacks he endured, and if such poor protection repeats against the Commanders, that might cause problems for the Eagles.
