Game Preview

In week 12, the Chargers suffered a 20-10 loss to the Ravens in a tough match. Keenan Allen, the wide receiver for Los Angeles, was the star of the game with 14 catches out of 16 targets, earning 106 yards. This marked his 5th 100+ yard game of the season and his third consecutive one. Unfortunately, rookie WR Quentin Johnston had to exit the game early due to a rib injury; however, the x-rays have confirmed that the 22-year-old should be fit to play this week.

The New England Patriots suffered a 7-10 loss against the New York Giants in week 12 of the NFL season, and did not perform well. The team tried both Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe as quarterbacks, but neither looked confident or capable in the role. It is clear that finding a new quarterback will be the team’s top priority in the 2024 draft. However, rookie wide receiver Demario Douglas showed promise, although he had to leave the game due to a concussion. The star of the game was Rhamondre Stevenson, the third-year running back, who had 21 carries for 98 yards and a touchdown. He also caught 5 passes for another 9 yards and the Patriots will be relying on him for any success this season.

Prediction

Neither of these teams has been particularly great this season, but the Patriots have been particularly poor. I expect the Chargers to dispatch them with relative ease, even on the road.
