Game Preview
The loss of Aaron Rodgers will hit the Jets hard for the remainder of the season. Backup QB Zach Wilson will have to take huge strides to steer this team to the same heights expected of Rodgers. Some good news for Jets fans was the return of Breece Hall though. The Sophomore RB looked every bit the dynamic player we saw last season prior to his ACL tear. With Dalvin Cook spelling the youngster and Rodgers out for the season, we should see New York relying on the run game alongside their excellent defense.
Dallas’ first two touchdowns against the Giants came from their special teams and defense. With Tony Pollard (2) and Kavontae Turpin (1) adding three more on the ground. The Jets’ defense should prove a sterner test than that of the Giants though. Dak Prescott may also have to throw the ball more than the 13/24 for 143 yards we saw last weekend.
Prediction
Dallas is one of the heaviest favorites to be found on the betting markets this week and with good reason. They will find life tougher against the Jets than the Giants but I still expect them to come out as winners here.
