NFL Week 7: Green Bay Packers vs Denver Broncos Odds, and Picks (Oct 22)
- The Packers are coming off a week 6 bye.
- The Broncos lost 8-19 to the Chiefs last time out.
- These teams have met 15 times previously, with the series tied 7-7-1.
The 2-3 Green Bay Packers take on the 1-5 Denver Broncos in this week 7 matchup. The Broncos are one of the worst teams in the NFL right now and the Packers will be expecting a comfortable win here.
How To Watch
The Packers were on their bye week last weekend so have had plenty of time to shake off their loss to the Raiders in week 5. Running back Aaron Jones has remained limited in practice with the hamstring injury he suffered in week 1. It remains to be seen whether his limited participation is precautionary or he is set to miss another week.
The Broncos are struggling this season, and people are starting to question whether QB Russell Wilson still has what it takes to lead an NFL team. Against the Chiefs in week 6, Wilson threw for only 95 yards on 13 completions, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Former Raider, Jarrett Stidham is waiting in the wings if Denver decides to move on from Russ. RB Javonte Williams is returning to full fitness, the sophomore took 35% of snaps in week 6 and that should increase to at least 50% this week.
I’ve made my feelings about the Broncos pretty clear all season. I can’t see them improving on their one win here. A Packers win is the only outcome I can predict this week.
