NHL Best Bets Today: Key Game Breakdown & Predictions
Colorado Avalanche vs. Pittsburgh Penguins Prediction & Odds
Date: Friday, October 16 | Ball Arena, CO
Game Preview
The Colorado Avalanche will play at Ball Arena on Friday, just days after a shootout loss at the hands of the Dallas Stars. It has been a mixed start to the season for the Avalanche, going 4-2-1 across their opening four.
However, they will be reliable favorites in the NHL on Friday, with their top-tier scoring prowess having averaged 4.8 goals per game. Their case is only made stronger based on Pittsburgh’s weak defensive record, having allowed 13 goals in their last four.
- Best Bet: Colorado Avalanche
Anaheim Ducks vs. Boston Bruins Prediction & Odds
Date: Friday, October 16 | Honda Center, CA
Game Preview
The Anaheim Ducks will be well-rested when they return to the Honda Center on Friday, having last been in action earlier this week when losing to the Calgary Flames.
Their consistency should be respected this week, as the Ducks have won two of their last three, scoring an impressive eleven goals over that period. A key trend to consider when following our NHL best today is the fact that the Ducks have won five straight head-to-heads against the Boston Bruins.
- Best Bet: Anaheim Ducks
