The Avalanche showcased the importance of their playoff experience in game three, as they remained calm in a frenzied atmosphere at the Climate Pledge Arena. Despite blowing their first period advantage, they ended the quicker of the two sides by netting three times in an action-packed third period.

The three goals that they scored ensured that they recorded a 6-4 win on the road, and a second straight success on the road on Monday could put them within a victory of reaching the next round. Mikko Rantanen and Nathan MacKinnon were excellent over the weekend, as both stars scored twice in the success against the Kraken.

Game three looked to be a crucial turning point in this series, as the Avalanche stood firm in the final period and secured a dramatic victory. We could see that momentum playing a key role on Monday, as we fully expect Colorado to register the victory that they need to edge within one more success of the next round.
