Team News

It has been an excellent campaign to this point for the Dallas Stars, and they will be bidding to maintain that when they play their penultimate game of the season on Wednesday. They come into their double-header against the Blues in excellent recent form, as they have won their last four.

Only the Edmonton Oilers are currently on a longer winning sequence than the Stars. Dallas has also won seven of their last ten games, with only two regulation defeats having been suffered over that period.

The St. Louis Blues have already missed out on a spot in the Western Conference playoffs this season. They currently sit eleventh overall, and have won six of their last ten. Over that same period, they have suffered three regulation defeats, with a further loss coming in overtime.

Their home form has been a big disappointment throughout this term, as they have gone just 18-16-6 at Enterprise Center. But, they will be looking to end their home campaign on a high note on Wednesday ahead of their final game on the road against the Stars on Thursday.

This will be a game with very little pressure on both sides, and that could open up value in siding with the Blues. Their performances have been slightly better over their last ten, and we could see them ending their home campaign with a victory.
