Game Preview
Borussia looks clinical this year. After losing to Bayern in the Super Cup, the Millionaires went on to win three in a row and score 10 goals during this stretch. They also have two Bundesliga wins: first against HSV, 2-0, and most recently this Saturday against Hoffenheim, on the road, 2-3.
Striker Serhou Guirassy has scored twice already, and has an assist to go along with that. Unlike the previous year, Dortmund looks much more aggressive and offensive, and it seems that will be their new style.
Villarreal is also offensive-minded. The Yellow Submarine both scores and concedes, but truth be told, they are allowing more than the offense produces.
Three of their 4 La Liga matches this year have ended with both teams netting and over 2.5 goals, but Villarreal has not won any of them. So far, the team has two ties and two losses, most recently against Deportivo at home this Saturday night, 2-3. It was a shocker because the guests managed to come back from behind.
